Professor Danuta Gutowska-Owsiak Appointed to the Chapter of the Maciej W. Grabski Award

We are pleased to announce that dr hab. Danuta Gutowska-Owsiak, prof. UG has been invited to join the Chapter of the Maciej W. Grabski Award. Established by the Foundation for Polish Science, this award honors individuals who excel in promoting science, advancing scientific thinking, and disseminating reliable knowledge to the public. First awarded in 2016, it commemorates Professor Maciej W. Grabski, a long-serving president of the Foundation.

In addition to Professor Gutowska-Owsiak, the Chapter includes distinguished figures from the world of science and education, such as previous laureates like Rev. Professor Michał Heller, Professor Szymon Malinowski, and Professor Magdalena Fikus. An honorary member of the Chapter is also Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, a politician and former Speaker of the Polish Parliament, who is the daughter of Professor Maciej W. Grabski. Professor Gutowska-Owsiak’s presence in the Chapter is a recognition of her commitment to the development and promotion of science in Poland.
